The ideal window treatment to match tall, narrow windows
Like Vertical Blinds, Horizontal Blinds are also available in a variety of materials. Material options such as fabric, vinyl, faux wood and hardwood are all the same.
The difference with Horizontal Blinds is that they are generally used on tall, narrow windows. The other difference is how they are opened. Unlike Vertical Blinds, these blinds are rolled up from the bottom. This allows for the bottom of the window to let in light when partially opened. The added benefit of this construction is that thinner slats are less prone to wear-related damage.
Generally, Horizontal blinds use a thinner slat compared to Vertical Blinds.
